Great that it's on display on campus. I wonder if there are any online political art locations you could submit it to. It would be a great New Yorker cover!

A New Yorker cover! What a great idea Ruth! You're right. I'll see if I can submit it there or somewhere else...

Sent it off to the New Yorker unsolicited ....been a few days now...haven't heard back...have a feeling it ended up in file 13 with the rest of the mass volume of unsolicited material they receive, but of course anything in life that has potential to have a very good outcome is worth the effort....maybe I'll try Canada's Macleans's Magazine next or AdBusters or...

Yeah, C.L. I know what you mean...I like monkeys and feel badly to be portraying them in this way. ..they deserve so much better... But, I also like frogs, dogs, cats, elephants,zebras,...

Wow John, I've been catching up here. I really like the style of your latest works!

Thanks Sandy!
I have to admit working from a political caricature point of view does offer you the freedom to express your opinions and especially with regards to current events and so on...

Hey John,
I came over from Gwen's blog after seeing one of your paintings calling from the side.
Love this work! I hope that you submit it to another magazine. It would be a wonderful cover statement!

Hey painter girl!

Love your fun clay characters, and colorful paintings! So much whimsy and joy!

As for Dick and George, I'll have to try another couple of places.

I think it would be a good homage to their leaving office soon - the sooner the better.

All joking aside, in general terms, I think the painting is able to reflect a large public perception of W' and Cheney's personal, and 'professional' relationship.
