I made a huffing post today you might be interested in, because of a guy named Robert Shetterly who has a collection of portraits of "Americans Who Tell the Truth." I don't know if you've heard of it, I hadn't.
No Ruth, I didn't know about Shetterly. But thanks to you, I visited his site and liked what I saw. He uses an interesting concept to communicate his ideas of positive role models to the world at large, and especially during a low point in the economic history of our culture.
