DetailDuring a few days in the winter I painted a collection of various song birds, sparrows, Evening Grosbeaks, etc.
And I decided to experiment with a smaller, more intimate scale; 5" x 7", etc.
These are not included in the current exhibit.

I recall coming across an incredible site a couple of years ago chock full of great bird images. (sorry - I don't know the address - I should try to find it again just for curiosity)
You're variety of birds down around L.A. and southern California must be quite wonderful though!
