Makes me want to walk along there in solitude and listen and see all that you described. Beautiful job.

In these special places Sandy, there are no other people, and no human-made 'noises'.
There are not even any sounds you would attribute to even the faintest hint of 'civilization'.
It is just you alone communing with nature and all its pristine beauty. Its easy to lose yourself for a while here.

What a wonderful blog!, and what a wonderful and diverse talent you have. Your paintings exhibit your obvious love of nature, as does your thoughtful prose. No wonder you and Gwen are like railway tracks going in the same direction to infinity. Far enough apart to honour each other's space yet holding hands across it.
I'm so awed, I cannot say any more.

Thank you arija! I am humbled by your compliments, and your visit! I see that you care immensely for our natural world as seen in your photographs.
What a wonderful place Australia must be! But dangerous with brushfires too!... Gwen told me about your sad loss, and for that I am sorry...
However, your photographs are beautiful, and very inspiring!
